November 15, 2012-The Independence Seaport Museum

This program will be similar to the recent Archaeology Month program and will consist of a series of illustrated presentations intended to provide a bit more information about the artifacts and archaeological discoveries from our I-95 project. This program will be FREE and open to the public, and light refreshments will be available. After the presentations, visitors will be able to view the artifact exhibit and ask questions about the recent discoveries. The program on November 15th focuses on the Native American sites and artifacts found.

May 12, 2012 12 PM Noon

The Penn Treaty Museum will host the ceremony to recognize the listing of Penn Treaty Park on the Philadelphia Register of Historic Places. The event will take place at Penn Treaty Park, noon, with music and presentations. The Museum will open the collection for public display from 1-3PM. The collection is currently across the street from the Park. 900 Columbia Ave at Allen and Delaware.
